EPL: He’s very sad – Amorim delivers bad news on Man Utd star

Manchester United manager, Ruben Amorim, has revealed that Mason Mount’s latest injury setback has left the player “very sad”.

Mount was taken off early in the first half of United’s 2-1 win at Manchester City in the Premier League last Sunday.

The England midfielder is now facing another extended spell on the sidelines.

Speaking ahead of their trip to Tottenham Hotspur in the Carabao Cup quarter-final, Amorim said: “He is out, still injured. He’s really sad.

“In the dressing room he was really really sad so we need to help him.

“When a player is in this moment with a lot of injuries and with this schedule, it’s really hard for them.”
