Dutsen Aba Community Breathes Sigh of Relief as Bridge Reconstruction Nears Completion

Residents of Dutsen Aba, a community in Zaria Local GovernmentFederal Government Debunks Fake Ambassadorial List Area of Kaduna State, are celebrating the ongoing reconstruction of a bridge that collapsed in 2014, cutting off their connection to Zaria town and causing years of hardship. The Speaker of the House of Representatives, Dr. Tajudeen Abbas, recently visited the site, and jubilant residents expressed their gratitude for the long-awaited project .

The reconstruction of the bridge marks a significant milestone in alleviating the community’s decade-long struggle. The project is part of Dr. Abbas’s efforts to improve infrastructure and quality of life in Zaria Federal Constituency. Other ongoing initiatives in the constituency include the construction and renovation of 116 schools, the development of Amaru Market, and the establishment of a sports complex in Zaria City .

Dr. Abbas assured journalists that all the ongoing projects are on track for completion by December 2025, with 100% of the required funding already released. The Speaker reiterated his commitment to driving social and economic development in the region through these projects .
