The Minister of Women Affairs, Hajiya Imaan Suleiman-Ibrahim, has reiterated President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s dedication to prioritizing the welfare and development of women and youths in Nigeria.
Speaking at an empowerment program in Kano, which benefited 1,000 women and youths, the minister highlighted the significance of inclusive policies for national progress. The event was organized by Nasir Ja’o’ji, a member of the Governing Council of the Federal College of Education (Technical).
Suleiman-Ibrahim praised the initiative as a testament to collaborative efforts aimed at uplifting these key demographics, emphasizing that neglecting women and youths could hinder societal growth.
She also commended President Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda, which she said has fostered nationwide optimism. The minister highlighted the appointment of nine female ministers in his cabinet as a landmark step towards achieving gender equality and inclusion.
“As we celebrate the empowerment of 1,000 women and youths today, we are reminded of the work that lies ahead,” Suleiman-Ibrahim said. “With President Tinubu’s visionary leadership, we are confident that Nigeria will continue to advance in empowering women and fostering development.”
The program reflects the administration’s commitment to addressing challenges faced by women and youths, laying the foundation for a more inclusive and progressive society.
