Additionally, Southeastern troops engaged IPOB/ESN militants in a firefight at Lilu, in Ihiala Local Government Area of Anambra State, after the group attempted to ambush them using Improvised Explosive Devices (IEDs). The militants retreated into the forest, leaving behind a Closed-Circuit Camera and IED components.

In Katsina State, troops swiftly responded to a distress call regarding an abduction along the Gurbi-Jibia Road in Jibia Local Government Area.
