Commercial activities continue as usual in the few business premises that are open, and vehicles are moving freely on the roads without the typical traffic congestion.
Some residents interviewed expressed a preference for staying indoors, citing a desire to save their limited resources for the week rather than spending time and energy protesting on the streets.
