The Kwara State Police Command has initiated an investigation into the death of Qoyum Ishola, a student of Kwara State Polytechnic, Ilorin, who was reportedly shot by police officers on September 4 in the Zango area of the state capital.
Commissioner of Police Victor Olaiya, in a statement, reaffirmed the command’s commitment to seeking justice for the deceased. He stated that a thorough investigation has begun, with relevant individuals and witnesses already identified.
