Tinubu Mourns Passing of Emir of Ningi

President Bola Tinubu has extended his condolences to the people of Ningi Emirate and the Bauchi State government following the death of Alhaji Yunusa Muhammad Danyaya, the Emir of Ningi.

The revered first-class monarch passed away early Sunday morning.

In a statement, President Tinubu praised the late Emir as a distinguished leader who used his position and resources to serve his community. The President also prayed for the peaceful repose of the late ruler’s soul and expressed sympathy to his family and all those affected by the loss.

Similarly, the Bauchi State government has expressed profound grief over the Emir’s death, highlighting his immense contributions to fostering peace, unity, and development within the Ningi Emirate and the state at large.

Mukhtar Gidado, Special Adviser on Media and Publicity to Governor Bala Mohammed, acknowledged the significant progress experienced under the late Emir’s reign, commending his steadfast dedication to upholding tradition, culture, and Islamic values.

Governor Bala Mohammed also conveyed his heartfelt condolences to the Emir’s immediate family, the Ningi Emirate Council, and the people of Bauchi State.

The late Emir’s career spanned roles at the Nasaru Dispensary, Ningi Emirate Council, Nigerian Tobacco Company, and Northern Nigeria Marketing Board.
