Nuhu Ribadu has officially succeed Maj Gen Monguno as the National Security Adviser on Monday.
The President of Nigeria, Bola Tinubu had last week appointed Ribadu as the NSA. He was earlier appointed as the Special Adviser on Security to Tinubu before he was given the current position.
However, Ribadu vowed to live up to the expectations of Nigerians and thanked the President for breeding hope of a more secure nation.
Ribadu was formally a police office and also the pioneer chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, under former President Olusegun Obasanjo.
