Nigerian hit singer-cum-clergyman, Bankole Wellington, aka Banky W, has stylishly responded allegations of cheating on his wife levelled against him.
Revisiting past records, recalls that a controversial blog site, Gistlover, had accused that the singer is cheating on his wife, actress Adesua with his former worker, Niyola.
Meanwhile, addressing his church members at the Waterbrooks church in Lagos on Sunday, the rapper-turned-preacher said the rumours were cooked up by satanic forces who don’t want his members to listen to his Sunday sermon.
He declared that the devil is a liar while assuring his congregation that God was in control.
He said, “The devil really didn’t want you to hear this message. In fact, he didn’t want us to enter into this series at all. There was an attack at the beginning, but here we are. But the devil is a liar. And God is in control.”
In his sermon tagged ‘The Prison Of Pornography’, Banky W appreciated his wife, Adesua, for supporting him during his struggle with porn addiction.
“If I don’t thank God for anything in my life, I thank God for this woman [pointing at Adesua],” he said.
