Couple apprehended by police for attempting to sell their two-year-old son to finance trip to Canada.

A couple in Lagos was recently apprehend by operatives of the Lagos State Police Command for attempting to sell their two-year-old son in order to fund a trip to Canada.

The couple, ages 28 and 22, were apprehended by the Isolo Divisional Police Officer after receiving information about their intentions from the Isolo General Hospital.

According to the command’s spokesperson, SP Benjamin Hundeyin, the couple was caught at the hospital as they were preparing to sell their child. The police moved swiftly upon receiving the information and managed to rescue the two-year-old boy.

During interrogation, the couple confessed that they were planning to sell their son to finance the man’s trip to Canada in search of better opportunities.

The investigation into this shocking incident is currently ongoing, as authorities work to uncover more details surrounding the couple’s actions and motivations.
