The Nigeria Army has reported that its troops engaged in counter-terrorism operations have successfully neutralized two terrorists in Kaduna.
Acting on credible intelligence, the troops intercepted four armed terrorists on motorcycles at a known terrorist crossing point in Kurmin Aja, Kagarko Local Government Area of Kaduna State.
The soldiers, demonstrating exceptional bravery, conducted a well-executed ambush that resulted in an intense firefight, leading to the elimination of two terrorists.
The remaining attackers fled with gunshot wounds into a nearby forest, avoiding civilian casualties. Following the operation, a thorough search of the area led to the recovery of 2 AK-47 Rifles, 30 rounds of 7.62mm ammunition, 3 magazines, and two motorbikes belonging to the terrorists.
The statement released by the Nigerian Army encouraged residents to remain vigilant and report any suspicious activities promptly to security agencies.
