Vice President Senator Kashim Shettima has lauded the Zeberced Group for its creation of 40,000 jobs and the development of the Abuja Industrial Park, among other initiatives in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT).
Speaking with journalists after a tour of the company’s site in Idu, Abuja, Vice President Shettima highlighted that these projects align with President Bola Tinubu’s push for industrialization.
In a statement issued by Stanley Nkwocha, the Senior Special Assistant to the President on Media & Communications, Office of the Vice President, Shettima also inspected the production line at the company’s Plastic Pipe Factory. He praised the company’s vision for establishing around 200 factories in the area and creating a significant number of jobs.
“They have developed a well-integrated ecosystem with necessary infrastructure, including roads and a railway line that will traverse this industrial zone,” Shettima observed with optimism.
Senator Shettima assured that the Tinubu administration is committed to supporting investors in Nigeria, noting that the development of the industrial park “is a precursor to greater achievements for the Nigerian nation.”
Adil Ayoin Kurt, Managing Director/CEO of Zeberced Group, noted that the project will encompass 250 factories and employ 40,000 people directly, adding that the necessary infrastructure has been executed.
