The changes involve four commissioners, aimed at optimizing the administration’s performance, according to Governor Fintiri.
In the reshuffle, Mrs. Neido Geoffrey Kufulto, formerly Commissioner for Information, has been appointed Commissioner for Women Affairs.
A statement released on Monday by the governor’s Chief Press Secretary, Humwashi Wonosikou, indicated that Mrs. Wunfe Anthony will move from the Ministry of Women Affairs to the Ministry of Transportation.
Mr. James Iliya, who was Commissioner for Entrepreneurship, will now serve as Commissioner for Information. Meanwhile, Hamajumba Gatugel, formerly of the Ministry of Transport, has been reassigned to the Ministry of Entrepreneurship.
Governor Fintiri expressed confidence in the commissioners’ ability to excel in their new roles, stating, “This reshuffle is designed to maximize our team’s strengths and improve services to the people of Adamawa State.”
