JAMB Releases Additional 3,921 Results, Reschedules Examination

The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has rescheduled the 2024 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) for 24,535 candidates.

In a statement, JAMB spokesman Dr. Fabian Benjamin explained that the rescheduling was due to substantial non-compliance with the Board’s standards at certain examination centers affecting these candidates.

Additionally, JAMB has released an extra 3,921 results that had previously been withheld, bringing the total number of released results to 1,883,350.

“The Board has meticulously analyzed the conduct of the 2024 UTME at certain centers where there was significant non-compliance with JAMB standards. As a result, 24,535 candidates have been rescheduled to retake the examination in their chosen towns on Saturday, June 22, 2024,” the statement reads.

The statement also noted that the 3,921 outstanding UTME results have now been cleared and released. Affected candidates can check their results from Saturday, June 1, 2024, by sending RESULT to 55019 or 66019. Those whose results have been cleared will see their scores, while those rescheduled will be notified of the new examination date. Rescheduled candidates should print their supplementary Examination Notification Slip from Tuesday, June 4, 2024, to confirm their designated examination centers.

Furthermore, candidates with prima facie cases of examination misconduct will undergo further investigation to determine their guilt, after which appropriate measures will be taken against them.
