The highly anticipated Lagos Shopping Festival, a 72-hour shopping spectacle, is set to kick off tomorrow, Monday, December 23, at the Mobolaji Johnson Arena, Onikan, Lagos.
This three-day festival, running from December 23 to 25, is organized by the Lagos State Ministry of Tourism, Arts, and Culture in collaboration with Chain Reaction Ltd.
In a statement released on Sunday, the Special Adviser to Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu on Tourism, Arts, and Culture, Mr. Idris Aregbe, promised an unmatched shopping experience for residents and tourists alike.
According to Aregbe, the festival will offer incredible deals, exclusive discounts, and a world-class retail atmosphere. He encouraged both local and international shoppers to immerse themselves in a retail experience that celebrates Nigeria’s rich culture and diverse offerings.
The event will feature over 500 vendors, showcasing a blend of local artisans and internationally renowned brands. Products on display will include fashion, electronics, beauty items, home decor, gourmet food, and more. From holiday gifts to unique fashion pieces, attendees are guaranteed to find something special.
Beyond shopping, the festival aims to promote Nigeria’s fashion and retail industries, connecting small businesses and established brands to global markets. Aregbe highlighted the initiative’s role in celebrating local artistry while using music and entertainment to enhance trade.
Adding to the excitement, the festival will feature live performances, food stalls, and a vibrant atmosphere that embodies the festive spirit of Lagos.
