55 days to ACA-A-THON feat. All eyes on Joshua Hassan to breaking the record.


A great feats that would still hopes and change Narratives in the Education sector of Nigeria was the lines of synopsis that the aspirant gave in line with his Aspiration of breaking the ACA-A-THON records


A computer science lecturer with the Federal University, Oye-Ekiti, Joshua Hassan is set for an ACA-A-THON event for the longest duration of lecturing, currently set at 150 hours.

The date for the academic to attempt this record is October 16, 2023.

The Computer Science lecturer graduated with a CGPA of 4.13 in Computer Science and a 4.56 CGPA in his second degree from Kaduna State University (KASU) respectively.

Currently, he is a Ph.D. student in Computer Science at the Federal University Oye Ekiti (Fuoye).

“Teaching is an inborn gift that I have, and by nature, I’m a sanguine with a touch of melancholy and choleric.. these traits and characteristics in me make me talk without getting tired”, he explained to Radio Nigeria.

Hassan has a penchant for teaching and has taught in nursery, primary, and secondary schools, before heading to become a lecturer at Ekiti.

“My passion is my motivation to take on the challenge of the Guinness World Record for the longest lecturing time”, Hassan who is also a Google Scholar said.

Since its inception in 1955, the Guinness Book of World Records recognises and publishes human achievements and the extremes of the natural world.

All roads leads to Federal University Oye-Ekiti as we lay down the Countdown to the Day, funnily, it’s 55 days to Go.
