Sheynnis Palacios, a 23-year-old model and beauty queen from Nicaragua, has won the title Miss Universe at the 72nd annual pageant, which took place in San Salvador.
Sheynnis became the first delegate from Nicaragua won the title of Miss Universe 2023, over 83 other contestants.
On the coronation night, Sheynnis consistently progressed to the next rounds, with an impressive performance in both the swimsuit and evening gown competition.
According to the Miss Universe organisation, Sheynnis’ goal in life is to work in the service of humanity, by running a newsroom and producing content and commercials for international brands.
Former winner R’Bonney Nola Gabriel from the United States crowned the new beauty queen.
