At least 20 individuals, including key leaders, were killed during a violent clash between rival terrorist groups in Katsina State.
The deadly confrontation, which occurred early Wednesday morning, is believed to be part of a territorial dispute in the Dan-Ali community, located in the Dan-Musa Local Government Area.
Security analyst Zagazola Makama shared details of the conflict on his X account (formerly known as Twitter), revealing that the battle involved the Mai Nore and Buzaro terrorist factions.
“Earlier today, a fierce gunfight erupted between the Mai Nore and Buzaro gangs in the Dan-Ali area,” Makama reported.
“According to intelligence sources, over 20 bodies were discovered at the scene of the clash.”
Eyewitnesses described the encounter as intense, with sustained gunfire resonating through the area. Several other bandits were reportedly injured during the altercation.
